Our course

Local rules of play

  • USGA rules shall govern all play, except as modified by local rules for general play below and by the tournament committee for tournaments.
  • Out of bounds (white stakes) - includes all fences and railing around the clubhouse. Stakes left of holes 7, 15, and 16 are out of bounds for the entire play of hole.
  • Lift permissible from all cart paths or on rocks (not in penalty area). Drop nearest point of relief, no closer to hole with no penalty.
  • For relief from railing around Clubhouse, the ball must be declared unplayable under USGA rule 19-2. One stroke penalty and two club lengths no closer to hole or see rule for other options.
  • Penalty Areas (USGA rule 17.1 & 17.2) are defined by yellow stakes, red stakes, and water areas on holes 2, 3, 4, 5, 11, 12, and 13.
  •  Guests of members who live within the USD 389 boundaries may play once per calendar year. Guests
of members who live outside the USD 389 boundaries do not have this limitation. All guests musty register at #1 tee box before playing. Green fees are required for all guests and may be paid at #1 Tee or in the clubhouse. Fees may be charged to a member’s account. Green fees are $20.00 weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Guests include: friends, grandchildren, grown children or
anyone not included on your membership.
  • Your grown children may participate in club activities on your membership only if they reside with you
and are 21 years old or younger or, they are a full time student at an accredited university and are 22
years old or younger. If your grown children do not meet one of these criteria and are local residents,
they must have their own membership to use the golf course and participate in club activities.
  • SLOW PLAY: This is not meant to hurry your play, however, if you are slower than the group behind
    you, let them play through.
  • FAST PLAY: Don’t expect to have the whole course to yourself. People who play fast need to
understand some people are new to the course and others don’t like to feel “rushed”.
  • REPLACE DIVOTS IN FAIRWAYS, GREENS, TEES, AND ROUGHS. Use sand to fill them when
available. If you see one, fill it whether or not you made it.
  • PICK UP TRASH and put it in the trash barrels on each tee.
  • PLAY IN TWOSOME OR FOURSOME. You can have a maximum of five in one group. If at all
possible, use two people per golf cart unless Covid-19 restrictions are in place.
  • Use the golf cart paths or edge of fairways when driving to your next shot.
  • Course will be closed to carts when deemed too muddy and soft for their use. Signs will be posted at the
#1 and #8 tee boxes when necessary.
  • Members using golf carts are asked not to drive their carts within twenty feet of the greens and to obey
the small NO CARTS signs throughout the course.
  • If a green is being watered DO NOT STAND ON THE SPRINKLER HEAD to stop the water and allow
a player to putt. This will seriously damage the sprinkler heads.
  • No children under 16 years of age are to drive golf carts around the club house or on the golf course
unless accompanied by an adult. Please inform your children of this rule. This will be monitored and
    enforced.
  • Members of the club who choose not to store their golf cart at the club are required to pay the $5.00 trail
charge. This fee applies to guests also.
  • If you are unsure of the rules or need clarification, please contact a board member. They will be happy
to explain the rules as needed.
